APPLICATION

After painting the leather, we recommend protecting the surface with LeTech Leather Top Coat and adding Cross Linker X 5-10% of the total amount of the product, as well as the innovative Leather X-Guard Additive 10-15% of the total amount of the product.

Leather Top Coat protective varnishes with the addition of the Leather X-Guard Additive significantly increases the resistance of the coating to UV radiation, abrasion and operating stress, also gives the leather powerful dirt-repellent properties and pleasant tactile characteristics.

With the LeTech EXPERT LINE range of protective coatings, you can choose from a range of matt or gloss finishes to give your leather the tactile properties you want, and our unique line of protective coat additives:

• Leather Slip Additive;
• Leather Wax-Effect Additive;
• Leather X-Guard Additive;

• The Leather Top Coat is applied as the final step, after the leather has been repaired and coloured, to ensure that the result is firmly fixed. It is ideal to apply the Leather Thickening Agent by spraying it on with an airbrush or airbrush gun. This allows you to get a uniform layer and the necessary characteristics of the protective coating. Try to avoid applying too much varnish, too thick layer of protective varnish can distort the color of the leather and cause an increase in its rigidity.
  
  The drying time of the Leather Top Coat depends on the temperature and humidity of the environment. Normally, the coating can already be used after 2-3 hours after restoration, but the full process of fixing and crystallization of the coating takes 8-12 hours.
  
  It is not recommended to expose the leather to cleaning agents and various leather care products in the first week after restoration of the leather and application of the Leather Top Coat. One week after restoration, the leather can be used without restrictions.
